Jason Ballard arrives with two decades of experience in the private and public sectors
Innovative Driven, a leader in data management services and solutions for corporate and legal clients, recently announced the addition of Jason Ballard to its consulting services practice, joining a team of well-known industry veterans Phil Favro, Eric Mandel, and Gregg Parker. Ballard further strengthens Innovative Driven’s in-house consultancy and adds an extensive skillset in business, banking, law, and technology to the team. Ballard has over two decades of comprehensive federal and state litigation and eDiscovery experience in private practice and the business, banking, law, and technology industries.
Ballard most recently led practices in the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), where he established one of the most respected eDiscovery and litigation support practices in the federal government. At the FDIC, Jason led the agency’s development and implementation of eDiscovery and data management practices, policies, and procedures and provided instruction on all aspects of eDiscovery across the agency and federal government.
“We are excited to have Jason join Innovative Driven’s consulting team and bring his expertise to our established team of eDiscovery veterans,” said Kim Taylor, Innovative Driven’s CEO. “Jason has the right combination of talent in terms of his legal background and technological skills to offer our clients another trusted advisor who can exceed their needs.” Innovative Driven’s Chief Revenue Officer, Wynter Grant, added, “Jason is a perfect addition to our growing team of legal experts and should offer our clients a seasoned set of perspectives on issues ranging from eDiscovery to Information Governance.”
Ballard developed a broad-based information technology background while working at CDW®, providing computer technology, data/records management, and eDiscovery systems consulting for customers nationwide. In 2020, Ballard became a Certified Information Privacy Professional – Europe (CIPP/E) and completed a course on Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from MIT’s Executive Education Program for MIT Sloan School of Business. During his career, Ballard has held technical certifications in several areas, including IT Server Administration (CompTIA® Server+) and electronic records, business process, email, and enterprise content management (AIIM® EMCp, ERMp, IOAp, BPMp, and EMMp).
Ballard will be working directly with Innovative Driven’s clients both in the U.S. and internationally to address the increasingly complex issues at the intersection of law and technology, including eDiscovery, data privacy and data protection, regulatory data compliance, information governance, and the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning for information search and retrieval.
